Refund Policy

In short

A paid plan gives you access for its full period. Because access is granted immediately, paid periods are generally non-refundable — but if you were charged in error, email us and we'll make it right.

1. Digital nature of the service

UPI SoundBox is a digital service. When you purchase a plan, you receive immediate access to premium features. Because the service is delivered instantly, paid periods are generally non-refundable once they begin.

2. Subscriptions

You can cancel an auto-renewing plan anytime from within the App or by contacting us before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period, which remains active until it ends.

3. When we will issue a refund

We will gladly review a refund if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same plan (a duplicate charge).
  • You were charged in error, or after cancelling, before the renewal date.
  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing the paid features and we could not resolve it within a reasonable time.

Please note: missed or delayed voice alerts caused by your device settings, battery optimisation, or changes by a UPI provider are outside our control and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.

4. How to request a refund

Email contact@dotmatrix.in with the subject line "Refund Request", the email or mobile number associated with your purchase, the date of the charge, and a short description of the issue. We review every request individually and aim to respond within 3–5 business days.

5. How refunds are processed

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Razorpay. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Razorpay. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the amount to appear.

6. Account deletion & refunds

Deleting your account does not automatically refund an active paid plan. If you want a refund, please request it before or alongside your account deletion.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
