Delete your account

You can permanently delete your UPI SoundBox account at any time, right from inside the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved preferences, and transaction history, subject to the retention exceptions described below.
Delete from the app (recommended)
- 1. Open the UPI SoundBox app.
- 2. Go to the Settings screen.
- 3. Scroll to the bottom and tap the Delete Account button.
- 4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are then permanently deleted.
Can't access the app?
If you're unable to open the app, email contact@dotmatrix.in with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email or mobile number linked to your account. We'll verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What gets removed
Your profile and account details, saved preferences (such as language and alert settings), and your transaction history stored with your account.
What we may retain
We may retain limited transaction or billing records where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance. Payment details are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay, and are not stored directly by us.
About active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically refund an active paid plan. If you'd like a refund, please request it first — see our Refund Policy.
